Neophyte wine tasters and oenophiles alike—more than 400—attended the main ballroom of the Ritz Carlton, Westchester, in White Plains for the Wines of the World annual fundraiser benefiting Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. The event, which included a silent auction, raised close to $250,000 for the seriously ill and injured young patients at Maria Fareri. Guests sampled wines chosen by Michael Grossberg of Grape Exchange in New Rochelle.
