Morning Rock & Ice Cream

Ice cream at 8 am? Rock ’n’ roll at 8:30? You bet. Blythedale Children’s Hospital held its 19th annual Holiday Broadcast Concert and Fundraiser hosted by 95.5 WPLJ FM at the hospital in Valhalla—beginning at daybreak (6 am). The adults may have been exhausted, but the kids…they were grooving to music performed by John Mayer, Johnny Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls, and Bedford resident Rob Thomas. Let’s just say Christmas music never sounded so good.
