Dear Diary at Neuberger

Artists put their most personal musings on display starting December.

People have kept diaries for centuries, but most would blanch at the idea of displaying theirs in a museum for all to see. Not so the brave artists included in the newest exhibition at the Neuberger Museum of Art. For Dear Diary: Update All, artists have created site-specific installations and digital works exploring the diary form. They touch on all of those sensitive topics that come up in personal journals, including identity, self-perception, culture, and political documentation. Dear Diary: Update All will be on view from December 16 to March 23.
