Q: What is the most efficient/cost-effective method of heating a home in Westchester?
A: “It’s more of a personal choice than a cut-and-dry answer,” says John Gaccione, acting director of the Consumer Protection Department for Westchester County. “Anyone can decrease costs by, weatherizing their home and consulting with a professional, who can perform an energy audit. All of the major energy providers offer tips and resources for saving.
