What Are You Typing New Year's Eve?

When the clock strikes midnight this New Year’s, you shouldn’t be worried about finding someone to kiss—you should be looking for someone to text. (In the first two quarters of 2008, the number of texts sent by Verizon Wireless customers increased by 24 billion messages.) One word of advice from us: before you wish your 100 nearest and dearest cellphone contacts a happy 2009, remember to acknowledge those who are actually in the room with you.
