On Saturday, May 17 at 8:00 p.m., the Westchester Symphonic Winds will present its third concert of the 2013-2014 season at the Tarrytown Music Hall, 13 Main Street, Tarrytown, New York, under the direction of its award-winning Conductor/Music Director, Curt Ebersole, a White Plains resident. The program includes Carmina Burana for winds, percussion, and voices, by Carl Orff, arranged by John Krance; Fantasia in G, by Johann Sebastian Bach, arranged by Richard Franko Goldman; Angels in the Architecture, by Frank Ticheli; and Profanation, from the Jeremiah Symphony, by Leonard Bernstein, arranged by Frank Bencriscutto.
Guest conductor on this program is Dr. Shelley Axelson, from Montclair State University. Carmina Burana will feature guest soloists Daniella Ashbahian, soprano; Erich Tusch, bass-baritone, and guest ensembles will include the Northern Valley-Demarest High School Concert Choir (www.nvdmusic.org), directed by Leslie Mac Pherson, and Ars Music (www.arsmusica.org), directed by Dusty Francis.

The season will conclude with WSW performing as the featured ensemble for the 2014 Fourth of July Concert at the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts in Katonah.
