The Music Conservatory of Westchester’s 12th Annual Golf & Tennis Classic on June 24
The Music Conservatory of Westchester will host their 12th Annual Golf & Tennis Classic on Monday, June 24, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Whippoorwill Club (150 Whippoorwill Road in Armonk). The event will include a lunch, “Shotgun for Golf”, a Tennis Tournament, Cocktail Reception, and Awards Dinner & Auction. Honored guest and performer Bernie Williams, NY Yankee Legend & Jazz Guitarist, will receive the Community Vision Award. Honored guest and performer Peter Duchin, Legendary Pianist and Bandleader, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. Bill Evans, WABC Senior Meteorologist, will be the evening’s emcee. The Music Conservatory of Westchester was founded in 1929, the Conservatory is the oldest and largest community arts school in a five-county region comprising Westchester, Rockland, Bronx, Putnam and Fairfield, Conn., counties. Each year, the Conservatory serves 3,000 students: 900 in its White Plains facility, and 2,000+ public school and disabled students who participate in outreach programs.
