"The Color Gallery," Paintings by Seema Kapur Varma at the
Irvington Public Library

Colorful, intuitive, acrylic on canvas paintings by Seema Kapur Varma will be on exhibit in the Martucci Gallery at the Irvington Public Library from January 5 to January 30. The Gallery is open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. As well as being an accomplished artist, Seema Varma is a poet, author, teacher, wife, mother, and founder of Saral Seva Trust, a charity dedicated to helping people discover their true purpose in life and helping others in need.  She has published four books on spirituality and self-help and has produced CDs of her Hindi poetry and songs.  Varma discovered her passion for painting in 2015 when looking for unique artwork to be used as the cover of her first self-help book.  Inspiration flowed and she has now produced a body of work she is eager to share.
