Manhattanville College’s MFA Program hosts the Second Annual Food 
Justice Conference & Writing Workshop, HUNGER. For complete

HUNGER is an event to combat food waste. This all-day event will include panel discussions with community advocates and other stakeholders on new strategies to tackle hunger, food waste, and related systemic challenges. There will also be networking opportunities, dinner, and an open mic storytelling. Dinner will feature MFA Creative Writing director Lori Soderlind interview Otis Gray of the podcast Hunger.

Dinner is $25 and registration is required 

There will be a pre-conference event on Friday, September 7 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Barat House including a storytelling workshop with members of We Rise: Storytelling Collective. This event is free and open to the public.
