This event occurs daily, every weekday.
On each day of school break, teaching artists present different quilt-inspired art projects that complement the Museum’s current exhibition, “Beyond the Bed: The American Quilt Evolution.” Come back again and again for new activities including fabric wall hangings, paper quilt designs, story quilting, and pattern printing.
March 26: Print Patterns – Print with stamps and found objects to create quilt patterns.
March 27: Paper Quilts – Design, decorate, and “sew” colorful 9-patch paper quilts.
March 28: Fabric Wall Hanging – Create your own decorative wall hanging using amazing fabrics.
March 29: Mixed–Media Patchwork – Use found and recycled materials in a unique quilt construction.
