8-piece Brooklyn-based group Red Baraat puts on a live show like no other. With their combination of Northern Indian bhangra rhythms, jazz, funk and hip-hop, the band's mission is to spread joy and unity to people everywhere. They've certainly succeeded so far, having performed at the White House, the 2012 flagship TED Conference, Google headquarters, and the 2012 Paralympic Games in London. Although Red Baraat only formed five years ago, they've quickly developed a signature sound and performance style, in live shows that are "completely riotous" and "fun as hell." NPR's All Songs Considered has named Red Baraat as one of its Favorite Live Shows. An unforgettable combination of sound and energy make Red Baraat a "party juggernaut" and a live music experience that you won't want to miss!
