Oct 6, 2012 to Dec 1, 2012

Students will get the opportunity to work step by step with a professional artist and delve into the processes of portraiture. Composition, line, shape, form, value, tone and perspective will be explored while proper drawing skills are developed.

Reingold is best known for his illustrations and paintings of celebrities and political figures that have graced more than 100 national magazine covers and dozens of movie posters. His portraits of American presidents can be seen at The National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC.
