Each year HVCCA participates in this exciting annual arts event. This year, for the 17th annual Peekskill Open Studios, HVCCA opens its doors to the public, free of charge, from 12 – 6 PM. View our current exhibition, “Art at the Core”, featuring works encompassing a broad range of artistic disciplines. The selected artists employ traditional art materials as well as new technology, video and performance to look to art as addressing the very core of our everyday lives, our ‘weltanschauung’.
The 2014 Peekskill Open Studios event is presented by The Peekskill Arts Alliance (PAA). See visual and performing arts by more than 100 artists in their studios, performance spaces and other special exhibits throughout the City of Peekskill, NY. Celebrate art all day and enjoy music & dining in the bustling cafes and restaurants at night.
This 2 day event has a wide range of visual art as well as performing art. It will include traditional and contemporary paintings, sculptures, video art, photography, installation pieces, ceramics, prints, drawings, silk paintings and performance arts. The Peekskill art scene is an evolving and vibrant community. New artists and performers continue to flock to Peekskill each year.
