Jazz Vespers with Gerard Carelli and Friends is planned for February 9, 2014 at 7pm, at The Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco. Gerard Carelli appears as part of the PCMK Musicale series which features talented performers in the greater New York area and supports local charities. Concerts are held in the Church Sanctuary at 605 Millwood Road (route 133 at Crow Hill Road), Mount Kisco, New York, with a reception to follow in the Great Hall. The rooms are handicapped accessible.
Trombonist/singer Gerard Carelli hails originally from New Jersey, graduated from North Texas State University, relocated to San Francisco and toured with the Ray Charles Orchestra. He ultimately settled down in New York City where he does freelance work with everything from quartets to 17 piece big bands. His past appearances in Westchester County include the Katonah Museum of Art, Caramoor, Neuberger Museum of Art and Northern Westchester Center for the Arts.
