This three-part workshop will explore the fundamentals of mindfulness meditation and how it cultivates mindfulness –the ability to tune into your senses and be present to what’s happening moment by moment instead of getting lost in the storyline of your thoughts. Through mindfulness exercises, meditation instruction, discussion and exposure to various meditation techniques, you will gain a clearer awareness of your thoughts and emotions. You will learn how to begin a simple meditation practice that you can do anywhere along with suggestions on how to make it a habit. If you’re a regular meditator, you’ll learn how to deepen your existing practice. And you’ll learn easy ways to bring mindfulness, along with gratitude, appreciation and joy into your everyday life.
