Honey, cheese, and la dolce vita! Marina Marchese, author and founder of Red Bee Single-Origin Honey, will lead a tasting and pairing menu of honey and Italian cheeses at Tarry Market in Port Chester, NY. Marina is the author of The Honey Connoisseur – Selecting, Tasting, and Pairing Honey with a Guide to More than 30 Varietals (co-written by Kim Flottum, Editor of Bee Culture Magazine), which celebrates the origin, flavor, and culinary uses of more than 30 single-source honeys. Marina recently completed extensive training in the sensory analysis of honey in Sardinia, Italy, and will share information gained from her travels with guests.
