09:30 AM until 12:30 PM

Join biologist Jim Carr who has taught at the New York Botanical Gardens and Audubon Land Steward Andy Chapin for a workshop to learn how to build a composting system in your backyard!

This program will help you learn techniques for building and maintaining your very own compost system, and will contain a portion of lecture and hands-on training outside.

  • This program is recommended for adults and children over 12 who are comfortable with lecture.
  • All levels of awareness and experience welcome.
  • $8 General Admission
