Description

Join biologist Jim Carr who has taught at the New York Botanical Gardens and Audubon Land Steward Andy Chapin for a workshop to learn how to build a composting system in your backyard!

Composting is a wonderful way to help the environment and the plants and wildlife in your backyard, and your garden will benefit significantly from it. This program will help you learn techniques for building and maintaining your very own compost system, and will contain a portion of lecture and hands-on training outside.

  • This program is recommended for adults and children over 12 who are comfortable with lecture.
  • All levels of awareness and experience welcome.
  • $8 General Admission
