Recologie Found Poetry Workshop

On Saturday afternoon, February 8th from 2-4pm, Marisa Boan, educator, photographer and lover of landscapes will lead the group in creating poems from already existing texts found in newspaper articles, signs, graffiti, letters and even other poems.
There is a poem waiting to be found in all of those old newspapers and magazines we have around the house.

Marisa  has proudly called New Rochelle her home for over thirty five years.  She is an accomplished photographer who focuses on landscapes and gardens and enjoys exhibiting her work locally.  She has been an educator in New York City for more than fifteen years and has worked as an elementary school teacher, a high school teacher, and a bilingual teacher in Mathematics, English, and ESL. She has held the positions of assistant principal and principal.
Marisa currently works as a school administrator and teacher sharing her love for the arts as she inspires future generations of artists and poets.

Space is limited so please contact Judith to reserve space.  The workshop is free and fun for all children!
