Fish Tales Part 2

Oct 1, 2012 to Nov 24, 2012

ArtsWestchester's exciting exhibition, Fish Tales Around Westchester swims into Mt. Vernon to educate and inspire. Using found and re-purposed materials, artists create original pieces that enliven and interpret the history of Westchester's vital waterways, the Hudson River and Long Island Sound. Ann Ladd collaborated with a 3rd grade class in Edward Williams Elementary school in creating a colorful mural depicting the Hudson River's wildlife. The mural, along with other fanciful fish inspired works by Ms. Ladd will be featured in the library's Rotunda Gallery.
