The Osborn will host engineer and author Sam Schwartz in a WellSpring speaker series presentation that is free and open to the public on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. Schwartz will discuss the impact of driverless cars on our highways, cities and workplaces at The Osborn in the auditorium (101 Theall Road, Rye).
Schwartz, a former New York City cabbie, is CEO of Sam Schwartz Transportation Consultants. He previously served as New York City’s Traffic Commissioner. The presentation will draw from Schwartz’s book No One at the Wheel: Driverless Cars and the Road of the Future and Street Smart: The Rise of Cities and The Fall of Cars. Copies of Schwartz’s books will be available for purchase and signing following the presentation.
WellSpring is the Osborn’s integrated approach to wellness that inspires everyone to enjoy life to the fullest by embracing the seven dimensions of wellness: intellectual, social, environmental, physical, spiritual, emotional and occupational.
