Description

Domesticated/Wild: May Exhibit by Melinda Green Tepler and Laura Clark

Melinda Tepler and Laura Clark will be exhibiting monoprints and paintings at the Irvington Public Library from May 2 to May 30, 2018, in the Martucci Gallery at the Irvington Public Library.  An opening reception will be held on Saturday, May 5 at 2:30 p.m.  All are welcome!

"Domesticated/Wild" is a celebration of life through the examination of light and dark, form and movement.  Inspired by the light that illuminates and defines growing forms of the earth, Tepler and Clark have transferred life into monoprints and paintings.  This artmaking process is a form of domestication, in and of itself.  Domesticated/Wild is an eclectic display of the worlds we have tamed and the worlds we merely inhabit.

Martucci Gallery hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 a.m.
to 9 p.m.

An opening reception will be held on Saturday, May 5, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. All are welcome!
