The College of New Rochelle will host a college and career day for young women in the region, in partnership with the Girl Scouts – Heart of the Hudson, Girls Inc., Her Honor Mentoring, and The Young Women’s Leadership Schools, at its main campus in New Rochelle. Young women in their junior and senior year of high school are encouraged to attend the event and learn about majors and careers in nursing, biology, chemistry, forensics, mathematics, education, psychology, sociology, social work, communication arts and fine arts – as well as learn about the college experience. Parents and mentors are invited to attend sessions on the academic experience, student life, the admission process and financial aid. Also included in this event is a campus tour and meet-and-greet with faculty, college students, and career professionals. Complimentary continental breakfast and lunch are also included in the program. Registration is required and seating is limited. For more information, call 914-654-5036.
