Eric Velasquez, the Hudson River Museum's Teaching Artist-in-Residence shows how create picture book stories inspired by the work of Caldecott Award winner Jerry Pinkney. Build A Story 1-2:30 pm. Paint Your Story in Watercolor 2:30-4 pm

-10/14 A Fable or Folktale, a story that shows you something true

-10/21 A Story About an Animal

-10/28 A Look at Well-Loved stories

Come to multiple sessions and bind your story into a book! Work may be selected to be on view at the Museum's Education Center.

Ages 9+. (Younger artists are welcome to collage).
FREE with Museum admission. Art materials supplied.
