The 29th Annual Chappaqua Craft and Gift Fair is back and better than ever! This year’s fair will take place on Saturday November 9th from 10am to 4pm at Robert E. Bell Middle School, 50 Senter Street in Chappaqua.
Stop by this year’s Chappaqua Craft and Gift Fair to admire the work of local merchants, crafts peoples and artists while supporting PTA-run enrichment programs at Bell Middle School. The Craft Fair will feature over 100 vendors exhibiting their fine handmade pottery, unique handcrafted jewelry, designer clothing, handbags and accessories, bath and beauty products and myriad other unique and original items just in time for Holiday gift season.
Peggy Macchetto, Bell PTA Chair and resident of Chappaqua for over 10 years said, “As always, we have assembled talented vendors with amazing items from around the area and beyond. We received so much interest in our event from both shoppers and vendors for its return after last year’s cancellation due to Hurricane Sandy. It will be a wonderful event and we encourage everyone to come by to shop, participate in the raffles, and eat gourmet food. ”
The Chappaqua Craft and Gift Fair is the largest fundraising event held by the Bell PTA and provides the PTA with most of the funding for such important student enrichment programs as The Jacob Burns Film Center Media Literacy program, Bell Reading Lounge, Character Education, The Hudson Valley Shakespeare workshops as well as nutrition, sustainability, and after school programming in environmental studies, supplemental music programs and computer programs. The Bell PTA also offers scholarships for field trips, after school programs and other needs for families and studies with financial needs.
At a time of budget cuts, the PTA’s funding of supplemental art and enrichment programs provides young people with outlets beyond academics and sports and offers them global insight and perspective.
Delicious and gourmet food items will also be available. So come hungry! Everyone is sure to find something to feed their fancy and fulfill their appetite.
Free Parking is available in the small lot on Senter Street or in the larger main lots off South Greeley Avenue and at the Chappaqua Train Station. FREE ADMISSION for All!
