FeedPost Office Considers Closing Branches in Mount Vernon, Sleepy Hollow, and Yonkers
The post office might close 4,000 branches. Will you be left without?

The U.S. Postal Service is about $15 bill in the red. So what is it doing? One idea is to close almost 4,000 of its 32,000 or so national retail offices. The USPS says that final decisions on closures will not come before May 15, but which of your local post offices are being “studied”? That would be the Sandford Station office in Mount Vernon (zip code 10550), the North Tarrytown office in Sleepy Hollow (10591), and the Yonkers South office (10705), which will affect more than 98,000 potential Westchester Magazine subscribers.
