Open Door’s Benefit Concert with Crosby and Nash

The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College

Radio personality Jimmy Fink of 107.1 The Peak was emcee for An Evening with David Crosby & Graham Nash, a benefit concert for Open Door Family Medical Centers.

The event, held at The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College, raised $428,000 for the organization that provides healthcare services at affordable prices to the entire community, particularly the economically disadvantaged. A sit-down dinner for 450 guests was followed by a concert for an additional 550 guests; Westchester Magazine hosted an after party. Tickets ranged from $100 to $150 (for the concert only) to $10,000 for a 10-ticket meet-and-greet with the musicians.
Pleasantville Community Television Producer Marlene Canapi co-chaired the event, which honored two of Westchester County’s most generous residents: David Swope, founder of Club Fit, and Simeon Schwartz, MD, president of WestMed Medical Group and CEO of WestMed Practice Partners. Westchester Magazine sponsored the VIP after party.
