New York City makeup artist Kimara Ahnert is branching out, opening her eponymous shop this month in the former Shabby Chic space at 88 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, Connecticut. “Greenwich has always been on my expansion wish list,” Ahnert says. The 3,000-square-foot space, resembling a well-appointed home, offers makeup services, eyebrow shaping, and lash applications as well as facials and body treatments. Ahnert counts the likes of Gwyneth, Emme, Marlo, and Marla as customers.
Stylist John Carlo, last at Paulo’s Atelier in Bedford Hills, has moved a few miles south and today holds court at Le Collage (200 E Main St, Mount Kisco, 914-241-0084), working his magic with scissors and blow dryers.

The salon/spa is open seven days a week, offering hair care, makeup, waxing, facials, massages, and “floating manicures” (a manicurist comes to your chair while you are getting your hair done).
