It’s that time of year again to get outdoors and get grilling, which makes meals not only more flavorful, but also easier to clean up after. Here are a few of my go-to tools when I’m firing up coals or turning on the burners.

Victorinox Wood Handle Solid Grill Turner, $8.69

A solid, wide spatula is a utile must-have.

OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Grilling Tongs, $32.99

Another essential is a good set of tongs. I love the OXO brand because they’re easy to grip, use, and store.

High-Heat Nonstick Flexi Basket perfect for fish, $29.95

Sick of fish flaking apart on the grill? Have no fear, this basket is the perfect solution.

Mesh Basket with Removable Handle, perfect for sautéing veggies, $29.95

The handle on this is accessory is, as the name suggests, removable, making it easier (and cooler) to get a grip on.

12 oz. Squeeze Bottles (pack of 3), $6.99

Celebrity chef Donatella Arpaia suggested that I pick these up, and it's one of the best tips I’ve ever gotten. They’re not only great for dressings and marinades, but you can also put water in them to tame out-of-control flames on the grill, and they’re super affordable.

Beastometer, $33.97

A good meat thermometer (read, it does not have to be expensive) will make or break your grilling and dining experience. Definitely pick one up!
