Your New Favorite Pieces from IKEA
The new IKEA catalog is out and you know what that means, new favorite home pieces for less.
Malarna Chalkboard Organizer, $29.99
We’ve all seen variations of organizers and chalkboards for the kitchen or office, but this brings both together in a way that only IKEA knows how to do. Cute and clever.
Osternas Leather Handle, $12.99 for pack of two
Changing the pulls on any cabinet or chest is a simple and effective way to transform an entire piece for very little. Thanks to these leather pulls, I say “out with the metal and hard pulls and in with the rustic, yet modern leather pulls.”
Nymo Lamp Shade in Black, $39.99
I love the cut outs in this shade and the gold interior. I can just see the patterns and glimmer this shade would lend to any room.
Tillagd Flatware Set, $59.99
Gold flatware does not seem to be going anywhere, but with a hefty price tag, I am hesitant to jump on the bandwagon. With this price, I would gladly join in.
Mangfald Gift Wrap, $4.99 for a pack of five
I have long loved the prints of the textiles at IKEA and their gift wrap is no different, although requires no crafty skills to make something of it.
Stockholm 2017 Cabinet, $349
This cabinet would fit beautifully in a laidback sunroom or rustic guestroom. I love the airy feel it has, but those who are not tidy, beware. You can see through it slightly.
Fjallbo Shelf Unit, $99
This reminds me of something you would find at Restoration Hardware where it is a mix of industrial and rustic, but for a fraction of the price.
Stockholm 2017 Ottoman, $139
Not to be confused with the Stockholm Ottoman, which has a curved top, this is more classic and can fit in any style of décor. I would choose a pair and place them under a sofa table for extra seating or around a coffee table.
Vimle Sofa, $499
You can’t beat the price for the style of this new sofa from IKEA. I also love that it comes in so many colors including my favorite Orrsta black-blue and Gunnared dark green.
Odger Chair, $75
I love the clean lines of this chair and think it would work spectacularly as a casual dining chair or at a desk in an office.
