Wine & Food Fest's most exclusive party went down this past Friday. Held at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Westchester, An Evening with Westchester's Tastemakers showcased some of the best food and wine pairings our county has to offer, prepared by some of the biggest names in the business.

Hors d'oeuvres were provided by Jim Dangler at the Ritz-Carlton during the cocktail and wine reception, while courses included local spring asparagus and Burrata from Glenn Vogt of RiverMarket Bar & Kitchen, tuna tartar lettuce cups from Ron Gallo of the Inn at Pound Ridge, offal and vegetarian lasagnas with blistered peppers by The Cookery's Dave Dibari, and braised beef short rib in a red wine reduction with mousseline potatoes and glazed cauliflower by X2O's Chef Peter Kelly. Heather Fratangelo of L’Inizio finished out the meal with a strawberry rhubarb brown butter cake with sweet pea panna cotta. Each course was paired with a corresponding wine to enhance the experience.
