As the saying goes, “There’s no such thing as free lunch.” But thankfully, free breakfast is a thing (at least for one day a year). IHOP National Pancake Day is back on Tuesday, March 7 – not to be confused with the U.K.’s infamous National Pancake Day on February 28, where civilians race through the streets of Britain, flipping pancakes. Ours is a bit more tame. All you have to do is stroll into your nearest IHOP between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. (select locations until 10 p.m.), and you’ll get a free short stack of original buttermilk pancakes. It’s a deal worth flipping out over.

Sound easy enough? Maybe for New York City slickers – they have 20+ easily accessible IHOP locations through the five boroughs. But as we noticed, they’re few and far between up here in the Valley (What gives, IHOP!?). So, if you’re in search of a free short stack this National Pancake Day, look no further. We put together an interactive map, marking all IHOP locations in and around the Hudson Valley.

Before you IHOP in the car and go, remember that the day of fluffy freebies is held in the spirit of giving. The pancake house requests that in return of a free meal, you consider making a donation to one or more of its non-profit partners, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Since National Pancake Day first began in 2006, IHOP has raised more than $24 million for charity in an effort to help those battling with critical illnesses. Now in its 12th year, it has set a goal of $3.5 million. Want to help, but can’t make it to an IHOP location? Donate online, here
