Great Medical Programs: White Plains Hospital Maternity Program

Having a baby is one of biggest life-changing events in your life. With so many options available today on how to give birth and who to entrust your care to, it can also be one of the most confusing.

Comprehensive care for Mother and Baby

The White Plains Hospital Maternity Program is designed to make the journey from pregnancy to baby simple, and special. In fact, 98.5% of White Plains Hospital maternity patients surveyed in 2018 said they would probably or definitely recommend the Hospital to deliver their friends’ babies. This is one of many patient experience accolades, including the 2019 Outstanding Patient Experience Award™ -- the fourth time since 2014 that the Hospital has recieved recognition from Healthgrades.

White Plains Hospital’s compassionate OB/GYNs and maternal and newborn specialists provide high-quality prenatal care in many convenient locations throughout Westchester. They honor all personal preferences, whether it’s having the assistance of a personal doula, using a birth ball for comfort and relief, or one of many pain management options.

Closer to your due date, an OB Navigator becomes your point person – arranging a tour, providing details on prenatal classes, and handling all paperwork in advance so the next time you visit all you need to worry about is having your baby!

Around-the-Clock Expertise

Once your baby arrives, an in-house team of OB/GYN hospitalist physicians, maternal-fetal specialists, Magnet designated nurses and obstetric anesthesiologists is available 24/7. Board-certified lactation specialists provide one-on-one and group support to all new breastfeeding mothers.
