Mary Clair Gallagher took a leap of faith when she moved from her small town in County Kerry, Ireland, to the United States to pursue a career in fashion.  Not only did she achieve her dreams, but she also found love along the way.

Edward Flores, a Newburgh, New York, native of Puerto Rican descent, met her much by happenstance in a lounge on the Lower East Side one warm October evening. Mary Clair boldly pulled up a chair next to him at the crowded bar and started up a conversation. When he mentioned that he was a chef, she was hooked, and so they arranged a date.

John, an equity analyst at Schroders in New York City, met Heidi, who had worked for jewelry designers David Yurman, John Hardy, and Robert Lee Morris, at a restaurant in SoHo. Since meeting, the couple has traveled extensively to Spain, Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, France, Turks and Caicos, Peru, Argentina, and Antigua.
