Vegas comes to Westchester for St. John’s Riverside Hospital’s Gala
“A Night at the Casino.” St. John’s Hospital sure knows how to throw a party!

Glen Island Harbour Club was completely transformed on October 28th for St. John’s Riverside Hospital Annual Gala, dubbed “A Night at the Casino.” St. John’s Hospital sure knows how to throw a party! The ballroom morphed into a live casino, which looked like it was straight out of Vegas. The energy was electric. Throughout the room, you could spot doctors, their stethoscopes and scrubs replaced by evening wear, and they were playing roulette, poker and slots! The best part? The buffet style food stations; they allowed guests to play and munch all night long. Some young doctors raved that this was the “hippest” gala they had been to. And successful too: $300,000 in proceeds were raised; the money will be used towards the renovation and expansion of the Iris and Marty Walshin Emergency Department.
