On Thursday, November 17, Mercedes-Benz of White Plains held “Fashion Takes the Wheel,” an evening of fantasy in support of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Mercedes-Benz and Mary Jane Denzer joined forces to raise awareness for the organization with a private, invitation-only fashion show by Mary Jane Denzer featuring the season’s most fashionable looks. The highlight of the evening? The show’s opening when a 2012 SLS AMG Coupe Mercedes drove through the showroom and out popped a model in a leopard hat. “Wow” and “Cool,” you could hear people exclaim. Gary Turco, General Manager of Mercedes-Benz of White Plains, said, “Juvenile Diabetes is a disease that strikes too many families. If we can bring our friends together for an evening of fun and fantasy while raising awareness for such a worthwhile cause, then we’ve achieved our goal.”
