Who wants to sit in traffic on July 4th when you could hang in Chappaqua, eat delicious food, sip some amazing wines, and rub elbows with former President Clinton, his wife, and his daughter. That’s what the Clintons, Chappaqua residents, and more than 400 other Westchesterites decided to do this July 4th, spending it at Crabtree’s Kittle House. Guests were treated to a spectacular fireworks display from Mount Kisco Country Club on the back lawn of Crabtree’s Kittle House. A picnic buffet, featuring Kittle House sliders, corn on the cob, St. Louis ribs, and more, was served on the lawn of the Atrium Carriage Room. Bill Clinton, wearing a festive striped pink shirt, said he “loved” the Kittle House, John Crabtree (indeed, he recorded a tribute for Crabtree that was shown at Westchester Magazine’s recent Wine&Food Weekend in which John Crabtree was honored), the fireworks, and reading Westchester Magazine (honest, we didn’t make him say that).
