On Saturday, January 15th, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society held their 19th annual Indoor Golf Classic benefit to raise funds to fight blood cancers at The Radisson Hotel in New Rochelle. The event was presented by ITG (Investment Technology Group) and over 145 Westchesterites “putted for the cause" in an effort to raise over $138,000 to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. The night kicked off with an opportunity to “Beat The Pro,” which was followed by a round of 18 holes of miniature golf all throughout the Radisson Hotel. It was a maze to find where the next hole would be and some of the holes were even in hotel rooms, which was a unique experience! There was a dinner, raffle, and silent auction and distribution of golf prizes from Titleist. There was a beautifully designed cake portraying a golf course, and the night was a fun evening for all for a great cause..
