Last night, the 54th Annual New York Emmy Awards took place at the Marriott Marquis’s Broadway Ballroom, and News 12 Westchester anchors walked home with five awards! Reporter Tara Rosenblum took two Emmys: one for Best General Assignment Reporter (akin to Best Actress award at the Oscars) and one for Best Religion News Story. Brian Conybeare won an Emmy for Best Hard News single story (his piece entitled Rental Rip Off), and reporter Lidia Ujkaj won one for Best Arts (A Plumber’s Portrait). And Lisa Reyes won for Best Sports Coverage in a series. Kudos to all.
