Bring Home a Bag of Dig Inn's Fresh Produce With Their (Almost) Free CSA

Just a donation or purchase of a Dig Inn meal is needed to participate in this affordable, limited-time program.

With the growing popularity of meal prep delivery services like Blue Apron and Hello Fresh, and sustainable locavore lifestyles, Community supported agriculture (CSAs) can be a terrific way to make sure your family gets natural, healthy foods in a way that doesn’t negatively impact the environment.

CSA programs grow produce nearby — generally within 100 miles — and distribute boxes to families that have contributed to its production with their time or with funding. This can sometimes get a little pricey. Luckily, Dig Inn has created a new pop-up experience to make it a bit easier — and cheaper — for their customers to eat healthy and local.

Guests will be able to fill reusable bags with their Dig favorites from the company's farm in Chester, NY, all for free with the purchase of any Market Bowl (or a $5 digital donation to partnering nonprofit GrowNYC). Dig Inn's Rye Brook location will be hosting their CSA pick-ups on October 2, 16, and 30, with one late September date still to be announced after Yom Kippur.

The company will also be operating pop-up farmers’ markets and cooking demos through October 27 at several Manhattan and Brooklyn market locations, once again free with the purchase of any Dig meal, or for a $5 digital donation. Check online for dates.
