These Are the Pumpkin-Flavored Treats You Need to Eat This Fall

Pumpkin spice lattes are so passé. Fill up on ice cream, crêpes, and cocktails instead.

Pumpkin Ice Cream at The Blue Pig

121 Maple St, Croton-on-Hudson; 914.271.3850

We scream for ice cream — even in the dead of fall. This time of year, The Blue Pig is scooping pumpkin ice cream packed with autumnal spices, including cloves, nutmeg, and ground cinnamon. Can’t have dairy? New on the menu is a pumpkin spice vegan smoothie, made almond milk, banana, pumpkin, and local maple syrup.

Ravioli Zucca at tredici NORTH and tredici SOCIAL

578 Anderson Hill Rd, Purchase; 914.997.4119

104 Kraft Ave, Bronxville; 914.793.1313

On the menu at tredici NORTH and at the owners’ new location, tredici SOCIAL in Bronxville, these ravioli are a savory alternative to the standard pumpkin-oriented drinks and sweets. Filled with homemade burrata and pumpkin cream, they’re tossed in browned butter and sage. Crumbles of amaretti cookies add crunchy texture.

Embrace local lore by ditching your pumpkin spice latte in favor of this popular libation. The Headless Horseman cocktail is mixed with rumchata, vodka, and pumpkin simple syrup, and finished with a graham cracker rim.

Pumpkin Crêpe at Leila’s Crepe Station

In their food truck, couple Leila Zambrano and Nick Vazquez are swirling up pumpkin batter for their seasonal crêpe. Filled with pumpkin cream, pecans, and whipped cream, it’s drizzled with maple syrup for a dessert that’s bringing all the flavors of pumpkin pie.
