Westchester's 2015 Thanksgiving Dining Guide
There’s nothing wrong with wanting restaurant-quality food on your Turkey Day and these Westchester eateries have menus that are tough to resist.

This classy, yet cozy White Plains steakhouse has been serving up USDA prime dry-aged beef to Westchester residents since 2010. For Thanksgiving, the restaurant will be serving a three course prix-fixe menu at $54.95 per person (tax and tip not included). Diners can expect dishes such as an autumn salad with goat cheese and walnuts, a traditional Thanksgiving turkey, and pumpkin pie.

Alvin & Friends
Chef Raymond Jackson has created a Southern-style Thanksgiving buffet at this New Rochelle eatery, famous for its contemporary American cuisine with Southern and Caribbean flavors. There will be three sittings at noon, 3, and 6 pm. While pricing does not include beverages, tax or tip, adults can feast for $35 and children under 12 are $15 each.

If you’re looking for a Turkey Day brunch or dinner option, New American restaurant Thyme will cater to your needs. Both meal times will feature a three-course prix fixe menu for $23.95 (brunch) and $42 (dinner). At brunch, diners can enjoy dishes like Executive Chef Tom Costello’s signature gluten-free crab cakes, eggs Benedict, and flourless chocolate cake. For dinner, wild mushroom ravioli, roast turkey breast, and apple pie a la mode grace the menu. Children are welcome as well with a reduced fee and separate menu.

Although a bit pricier, this Tarrytown restaurant offers unique Auberge-style cuisine for a twist on the traditional Thanksgiving meal. Diners can enjoy the four-course menu for $95 per adult and $49 per child, plus a wine-pairing menu for $135 per adult (plus tax and tip). Featured dishes include sweet potato gnocchi, heritage turkey roulade, and cranberry apple petit gâteaux.

From 1-8 pm on Thanksgiving Day, Moderne Barn is offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $55 per person (children are half price). While a traditional roasted turkey is offered, other menu items include shrimp cocktail and lobster black truffle risotto.

Reservations are being accepted at City Limits White Plains for a special Thanksgiving Day (1 to 7 pm) sit-down meal. Among the appetizers to choose from are New England seafood chowder, turkey sausage pizza, and tuna tartar ($8-$15). For the main course, there are six options including slow-roasted turkey with cornbread stuffing and sweet potatoes; seared Atlantic salmon, and herb-roasted rack of lamb. Order an entrée and get half off any bottle of wine.

The Inn at Pound Ridge
For $88 per person, guests can dine on Thanksgiving favorites at this 1833 residence-turned-restaurant. Look for menu items like salmon sashimi, roasted organic turkey, and cranberry sorbet, all utilizing ingredients sourced from the Hudson Valley and New England.
