Gourmet Milkshakes Hit White Plains

There's something special (and non-alcoholic) in the blenders at Lazy Boy Saloon, and you can help christen it

Known for a drink selection that rivals any saloon in Westchester, Lazy Boy is whipping up something different this summer. In a effort to standout from the many other restaurants and pubs on Mamaroneck Avenue, Lazy Boy manager Colum Flattery decided to add gourmet milkshakes to the menu. With hundreds of likes already on Instagram, the new confections hit its menu this week.

There's one thing missing however: The three individual shakes have yet to be named. Lazy Boy's leaving that up to their loyal customers with a contest via its Facebook page, the winners of which will also be treated to a meal and, naturally, a few milkshakes. And to give you a head start, here are descriptions of the selections in need of an official nom de shake, and happy slurping.

1. A strawberry milkshake topped with cotton candy, hard candy, strawberry syrup, and whipped cream.

2. This peanut butter-based offering is loaded with toppings, including M&M's, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, pretzels, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream.

3. With a vanilla base, this crowd-pleaser packs several desserts in one. It's topped with two chocolate-chip cookie sandwiches, graham-cracker topping, and mini chocolate chips.
