Scent-sational

The countdown to Christmas has begun and this is one present I would like to find in my stocking. The new Hanae Mori No. 7 perfume, the last in a limited edition series, offers a scent of fresh fruit, a hint of French pastry, and a host of exotic flowers. Available at Nordstrom’s, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, and Neiman Marcus, $95 for 3.4 oz.

Sleight of Hand

I love the Guerlain mascara that comes in the clever little twist-and-reveal case, so of course I’m going to love its sibling: the new liquid lipstick, Rouge G L'Extrait (the mirror is perfect for discreet touchups). A Sight for Sore Eyes

A Sight for Sore Eyes

Tired, itchy eyes are an occupational hazard of being an editor, so I was happy (grateful?) to try out Repechage Eye Rescue Pads. Just place the soft pads, which are saturated with a blend of seaweed and green and black teas, over your eyes and relax for 10 minutes or so. Ahhh, blessed relief. 60 pads, $38; 14-pad travel pack. $9 at www.repechage.com or call1-800-SKIN.
