Gineann Creaney has encountered every lash disaster you’ve wildly imagined—and some you can’t. In my case, an inaugural lash perm (yup, just like the one you rocked at prom back in ’86) had left my already dark, but naturally stick-straight fringe bent, but in more of a 90-degree fold than the supple swoop I’d fantasized of. Worse, the several-week-old chemical treatment was on its last legs, leaving sporadic lashes limp and haphazardly tangled in every direction.
No matter—Creaney weaved and wielded the lamest of lashes with lush, individual synthetic mink fibers. The results: a full, seductive set of durable, tailored-to-my-own lashes (that, by the way, do wonders for tired eyes). Three weeks later, I’m as enamored as I was on day one. Is it the dramatic length and soft curl making my peepers look so wide with delight? That, and maybe the flood of compliments I’ve been fielding since.
