Here are some more reasons to love almonds: L’Occitane’s newest additions to its line of skin-firming products. Apparently, almond buds possess firming and elasticity-boosting properties for smoother-looking skin. Sounds too good to be true, right? Maybe not. I tried the Almond Shaping Delight ($48) and, while it didn’t get rid of cellulite, my skin definitely looked smoother right away, And unlike other firming treatments in which you have to massage the cream into your skin for 20 or so minutes with every application, L’Occitane’s cream goes on like silk and absorbs quickly. What’s not to love? Other products in the line include Almond Beautiful Shape ($44), a gel-cream that promises to trim up to 1.3 inches from trouble zones in just four weeks; Almond Shower Scrub ($26), and Almond Smooth Hands ($10). Available starting March 19 at L’Occitane at The Westchester in White Plains.
