Come join the Westchester County Assosication’s (WCA) power breakfast panel, “The 2017 Report From Washington Breakfast” on Monday, March 6, 2017, from 8-10 a.m. at the Doubletree by Hilton in Tarrytown where attendees will be given the opportunity to hear from members of New York’s congressional delegations. The topics that will be discussed during this event include: infrastructure funding, immigration, taxes, the Affordable Care Act, and more. The featured speakers — US Reps Nita Lowey, Sean Patrick Maloney, and Eliot Engel — will take audience input to drive the conversation. Tickets cost $75 for WCA Members and $90 for Non-Members. Reimagining Our Downtowns

Join The Business Council of Westchester for their “Reimagining Our Downtowns: The Residential Model” event on Tuesday, March 7 from 8-9:30 a.m. at Tappan Hill, Tarrytown. The BCW is bringing together the leaders of four major development companies that are reshaping Westchester’s urban centers for an exclusive insider’s view of one of the most significant economic development trends that is affecting the country and region. Sponsored by KeyBank, the program will feature a panel of leading edge developers who will discuss their residential projects in New Rochelle, White Plains, Yonkers, and Mount Vernon. Heineken USA Shares Sustainability Tips

As part of its Sustainability Speakers Series, Westchester Green Business presents “Heineken USA — Brewing a Better World” on Friday, March 10 from 8-10 a.m. at Westchester Community College – The Gateway Center. During the event, featured speaker Dayna Adelman, director of corporate social responsibility at HEINEKEN USA, will share HEINEKEN’s long-term global approach for making sustainability a business imperative. The White Plains-based company’s Brewing a Better World initiative serves as the foundation for how the company operates, interacts with others, builds relationships and brings their brands to market, responsibly. Celebrate Women’s History Month With Networking

HVEDC Hosts “Meds and Eds” Panel

On Tuesday, March 14, from 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. (HVEDC) will bring together a panel of leaders and experts from regional colleges and universities, health care organizations, home health care agencies and related industries. The panel will discuss the challenges and opportunities that are surrounding the growth of higher education and health care in the Hudson Valley region, as the industry moves from the classroom, to the operating room, to the living room, to the bedroom. Located at the Student Center at Marist College, The Nelly Goletti Theatre in Poughkeepsie. Breakfast will be provided and the event is free, but there is limited seating available. One of the most anticipated yearly events in Westchester’s nonprofit community, Volunteer New York!’s 37th annual Volunteer Spirit Awards takes place on Friday, March 31 from 8-10 a.m. at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown. The breakfast event honors volunteers in Westchester who have gone above and beyond, and will include the presentation of the 2017 Legacy Award to George Troyano, president and publisher of the Journal News Media Group.
