Westchester Bank Selected a ‘2019 Best Companies to Work For in NYS’ for 3rd Year in a Row
The New York State Society for Human Resource Management honored The Westchester Bank as one of the 75 Best Companies to Work for in New York State. The annual award recognizes employers whose work enhances the state’s workforce, economy, and businesses. John M. Tolomer, president and CEO of The Westchester Bank says,“It’s an honor to be recognized as a Best Company to Work for in New York, and a tribute to every one of the 70 people working here. It’s also a true testament to their commitment and dedication to service, excellence and making the community a better place in which to live.”

Sarah Lawrence President To Be Honored by Rice University
Cristle Collins Judd, president of Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, has been chosen, with five other Rice University alums, to be honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award. The Association of Rice Alumni awards a graduate “who has advanced the interests and standards of excellence of Rice University through distinctive professional or volunteer careers.” Judd graduated from Rice in 1983 with a both her bachelor and Master’s degrees in music from The Shepard School of Music. Since, Judd has received fellowships and awards based on her work as a scholar of music of the Renaissance, and has been highly regarded as tenured professor and dean at University of Pennsylvania and Bowdoin College before taking office as the 11th president of Sarah Lawrence College in 2017.

Northern Westchester Hospital CMO Honored by United Hospital Fund For Excellence in Health Care
The 2019 Excellence in Health Care Award was given to Marla Koroly, MD, senior vice president, medical affairs and chief medical officer at Northern Westchester Hospital by the United Hospital Fund. Northern Westchester nominated Koroly as an employee who has showed vision and accomplishment in personal efforts to improve quality of care, patient safety, and patient experience. UHF then honored the doctor as one of the 57 “extraordinary quality improvement leaders” across the metropolitan region.

CareMount Medical’s Marketing Team Receives Multiple Awards
Bulldog Reporter has named CareMount Medical Marketing Department’s 2018 New Doctors campaign the “Best Content Marketing Campaign” in their PR Awards. The award represents outstanding communications and PR campaigns within the past year. The New Doctor campaign uses digital advertising, social media, video and sponsored content, PR, and media opportunities to educate new and existing patients about doctors who recently have joined the CareMount staff.
CareMount’s Director of Marketing & Communications, Gina D’Angelo-Mullen (pictured above), has also been recognized as a finalist in 2019’s Top Women in Healthcare Awards by PR News and Access Intelligence, LLC. The annual program lauds leadership and contributions to their field by women in the industry, who make a difference to patients, customers, and the culture at large.

KeyBank Recognized as One of the 50 Most Community-Minded Companies in United States
KeyBank was named as one of Points of Light’s Civic 50, which marks KeyBank as one of the most community minded companies in the United States. The Civic 50 honors those who use their time, skills, and resources in community engagement and improvement. Examples of KeyBank’s service are the annual Neighbors Make The Difference Day, when 200 KeyBank employees volunteered in their community for 800 hours, and the five year National Community Benefits Plan that plans investments in low to moderate income housing.
Four Houlihan Lawrence Agents Ranked Among America’s Top 1,000 Real Estate Professionals by REAL Trends
Ellen Mosher of the Greenwich office, David Turner of the Bedford/Pound Ridge office, Nancy Kennedy of the Croton-on-Hudson office, and Pollena Forsman of the Larchmont office (pictured above, left to right) are the four Houlihan Lawrence agents added to the REAL Trends rankings of America’s top 1,000 real estate agents. “The Thousand,” as the list is called, are the members of the top one-half of one percent of realtors nationwide.
